New BID Term Ballot
On Thursday 18th December 2025, eligible local businesses will be invited to vote on whether to approve a new 5-year term for the Business Improvement District (BID). This ballot gives our business community the chance to shape the future of our town centre – ensuring continued investment in local marketing, events, public realm improvements, and support for traders.
Who can vote?
All non-domestic ratepayers within the BID area will receive a ballot paper. Each eligible business gets one vote per property. Voting is confidential and conducted by postal ballot, administered by Civica Election Services.
